Cancellation & Refund Policy

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so travel cancellation insurance is required once deposit is made.

TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE
To join the retreat, you must have travel insurance. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant activities you will be engaging upon on your retreat & TRIP CANCELLATION. You can go to: http://bit.ly/get-travel-insurance-quote or the insurance of your choice.

Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees.

With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your trip, Black Butterfly Journeys Retreats does not offer refunds for any reason. All deposits are non-refundable and will not be returned. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat to be taken within one year of your original retreat date.

RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY
While we have never cancelled a retreat to date, if Black Butterfly Journeys Retreats must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a FULL refund of your payment to us, constituting a full settlement.

If we reschedule a retreat for a future date, your retreat payment will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new retreat, your payments will be refunded. Depending on the reason for the reschedule, Black Butterfly Journeys has the discretion to return the initial deposit.

Black Butterfly Journeys Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
